AI Act Officer: your website, within the EU AI Act.
Since 2 August 2026, the EU AI Act requires people to be told when they talk to an AI, and requires realistic AI-made images and video to be labelled. The AI Act Officer checks your website every month, prepares the fixes and keeps dated proof of each check.
Checked, fixed, and on record.
- Checks that your chatbot tells people they are talking to an AI
- Finds realistic AI-made images and video on your site and prepares a label
- Writes and updates a plain-language page on how your business uses AI
- Re-checks every month and after big website changes
- Keeps a dated report of every check, ready if anyone asks
- Gives your web person the exact text and where it goes
Its limits, your call.
It checks and prepares alone. Anything that changes your website waits for you.
Just your website address.
It checks your public website by its address. No login is needed. Fixes come as exact text and a short snippet for whoever runs your site.
A month with the AI Act Officer.
Monthly check of every page. Finds one AI image without a label.
Prepares the label and sends it to your web person after your OK.
Confirms the label is live and closes the item.
Your chatbot vendor updates its widget. It re-checks the AI notice.
Saves the dated monthly report to your account.
About the AI Act Officer.
Does the AI Act apply to my small business?
If your website has a chatbot or shows realistic AI-made images or video, the transparency rules in Article 50 can apply to you. They have applied since 2 August 2026. The free check tells you what it finds on your site.
My chatbot comes from a vendor. Is that their job?
The vendor must build the AI notice in, but your customers see it on your website. The AI Act Officer checks that the notice really shows, in your visitors' language.
What are the fines?
Breaking the Article 50 rules can cost up to €15 million or 3% of worldwide yearly turnover. For small businesses and start-ups the lower of the two applies.
Did the EU delay the AI Act?
The 2026 "Digital Omnibus" moved the high-risk rules to December 2027 and August 2028. It did not move the transparency rules this officer checks. One exception: AI tools already on the market before 2 August 2026 have until 2 December 2026 to add machine-readable marking.
Is this legal advice?
No. Omni Agent checks and fixes what it can and keeps dated proof. It is not legal advice. For a specific legal question, talk to a lawyer.
